Basically: Brush on a dark shade of shadow across your eyelid blending into the crease, then line the eye with black and smudge. Add a light shimmer shadow around the edges if desired and complete with several coats of a volumizing mascara. *When lining the eye, keep the line thick along the outer corners, especially on the top lashline, and taper the line to barely noticeable towards the inside corners (this keeps the liner from making your eyes looking tiny).

For you, using black throughout might dull your eyes since they're blue, so I'd experiment with using a royal blue shadow for the lid, then lining with a very dark midnight blue. Personally, I always think blue eyes look gorgeous with coppers, because the contrast is so dramatic. Try using this [http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jh… in Blaze and then line with a very dark brown (or navy) using the lining method above.Smokey eyes makeup will it look good and how?
Hello there,

Here is my routine on how I do my smokey eye:

1-Smooth a primer over the entire lid, creating a base for the shadow to stick and stay put for hours. If you do not own a primer, mix concealer and your moisturizer together and apply to lid, works just aswell.

2-Curl your eyelashes, if you wanted to, if not miss this out.

3- Begin by carefully lining the top and bottom of the eyes with a dark brown or black liner. Soften the lines by gently smudging with a fingertip or cotton swab.

4-Line the top and bottom of the eyes next with a matte brown eye shadow using a small brush. Stay close to the eyes, and blend out toward the crease. The color should be in a chocolate or lighter cocoa color. Stay away from red- or pink-toned browns which will give you a sickly look.

5- Dust the entire eyelid with a lighter color using a makeup brush. A shimmery shadow works well. Choose a color that compliments the darker brown but steps it up a bit. A bronze or gold tint would look best.

6- Finish with volumizing waterproof mascara on the eyelashes. It should be either black brown or black, depending on which color eye liner was used. Once the first coat of mascara has dried, apply a second coat to the top lashes only.

7-Use softer shades of makeup on the lips and cheeks so nothing will compete with the dramatic eyes. Soft and light nude shades look best.

Handy Tips:

1. You can use another colors instead of brown if you like, so replace the dark brown or black eye liner by gray or blue. Then the brown matte eye shadow by a matte gray or blue

2. The light shadow can be pink, white, or light gold colors.

Put a shimmery light gray on the inside corner of your eye to about the middle of the lid. On the outside of the lid, shade with a shimmery black like Black Tie from MAC to the middle inside of the lid and a little along the bottom lashline, on the outside corner of the eye and up along the bottom edge of the brow bone, forming a V-Shape. Finally, swipe a shimmery cream like Maybelline's Tranquil Sands along the top of the brow bone and under the eyebrow, and also put a dab at the inner corner of your eye.

Trace your entire eye with eyeliner and smudge.

And thick black mascara is a must! MAC Plushlash is my favorite and it is only $11 and is the best mascara I have ever used.
i think it would look really pretty with those features:)

heres some simple tips for smokey eyes:

In order to achieve the “smokey eyes” look you must select dark, neutral colors. Black eyeliner with gray eye shadow will work well for the smokey eyes appearance. First, line your eyes with a black eye liner pencil. Make sure you line both top and bottom paying close attention to lining around the natural eyelid contour. You can use concealer under your eyes with a thick coat of powder that will catch any excess eye shadow, which will later be brushed away so you don't get the dark colors under your eyes.

After you line your eyes carefully smudge the liner in the outer corners to soften the line. Then apply a thin line of black eye shadow over your eyeliner to further soften the look and create a stronger contrast. Next apply your eye shadow all over your eyelid, use a charcoal shadow or a neutral brown. Now top it off with black mascara.

hope i helped:)
Bare minerals makes a great crease brush that creates a fantastic smokey eye pick a shadow of theirs and use the liner brush and some water to line your lash line than use the crease brush dry to gently sweep shadow back in forth in the crease of your eye. Clean up under your eyes as the minerals are loose some will fall (raccoon effect) Sweep on a couple of coats of mascara use more on the outer lashes none one the bottom and remember nude lips or nude gloss eyes and lips is too much also if you use a darker coppery shade rather then black it will make your blue eyes pop (try bare minerals Sex Kitten)

I'm a fan of smokey eyes too, and employees from sephora helps you what are the techniques for smokey eyes.

If ever your doing ANY color of smokey eyes.

always have two tone colors.

like for example.

gray=dark.

light green-dark green

light purple=dark purple.

and so on.

The light color goes base, and the dark color is the color you have to blend in so at the egde of that it'll be kinda fade.

It depends what kind of blending brush you use.

For the eyeliner; just retouch your waterline for your eyeliner, and dip you angled brush to the dark tone color, and use this to redefine your eyeliner.

To see what kind of colors you think may look good in your eyes, is just try all of the colors.

Till you select the perfect color for your eyes and skin tone.

I'm tanned, and my hair is brownish, i always love using green smokey eyes, and brown.

You should experiment(:
1) Line your whole eye in black.

2) Put black/gray shadow on your lid.

3) Take a white or gray shadow and put it up to your brow. Put a tiny bit of white on the inner corner of your eye ( connected to the rest of the white)

4) Blend it, but make sure you can still tell the difference between the black and white.

5) Put on black mascara.

Hope i helped.
it would look sexy on you(:
