How would I get my eye makeup to look like Miley Cyrus's in the 7 Things music video?

I think it looks soooo good. What products would I buy, and any suggestions on brands of things? I'm not a huge Miley fan, but I just love how it looks! Here's a link to the video, and if you go a couple seconds in, you can see it! Thanks! How would I get my eye makeup to look like Miley Cyrus's in the 7 Things music video?

How can I wear dark eye makeup without looking like a tramp?

I like the dark eye makeup look - lots of smoky black eyeliner and eyeshadow. However, whenever I try to wear this look, my family tells me I like like a tramp with all of that black eyeliner. I don't want it to look trampy and I'm not aiming to look sexy, I want more of a dark and serious look (I want to say it's a somewhat gothic-like look, but I'm not sure if that's the right way to describe it.) How can I achieve this? How can I wear dark eye makeup without looking like a tramp?
I know what your talking about. I love that look too. :)

My recommendation is to first put on some silver, grey, or any lighter color eyeshadow on. Don't use black all over your lid, because that does look too dark. Then, put thicker eyeliner at closer to the edge of your top eyelid, and let the line get thinner as you go towards the inner corner of your eye, until there's none there. It looks much less trampy. On your bottom lid, you may just want to put it on the outer half of your eye, for the same reason.

Personally, I wear brown eyeliner, but I'm going for a natural look, so that may not be what your looking for. Also, wear some black volumizing mascara. It's an easy way to look intense.

Good luck! :)How can I wear dark eye makeup without looking like a tramp?
ok, im not a beautician but I love my eye make-up..

I think you should start with a light colour on the inside of your lid (closest ur nose), blend a shade somewhat darker in the center of ur lid, the colours must be the same just different shades, blending is very important. On the outside of ur lid put your darkest shade of that colour, again blend well. This darkest colour can be shaded along just underneath ur brow bone and slightly above the middle colour (this will ensure blending is done well).

As for liner, make sure its well pointed (if pencil), the finer the tip the better- put the eye liner barely on the edge of your eye- above and below.

To finish this look you can use your 'darkest' shade (or for fun a completely different colour) and in the outside corner of your eye barely sweep your brush under the eye ( this must be fine %26lt;not really obvious%26gt;). Do not go too far in, just about 5mm.

what I've learned from years and years of bad make up choices is that practice makes perfect. Experiment and you will find your niche and what really suits you. Enjoy!
Blending in the colours is key here. For the classic smokey eye, use black eyeshadow on your lid only, and use some grey in your crease. Then silver on your browbone, blending all the colours together. If you blend them together, you can achieve a really nice look and it will not look so dark.

Using black eyeliner without it looking cakey can be a challenge. My suggestion is to smudge it. Smudge it to the side, to mellow it out a little. This can still look dramatic, just not as stark.

Here is a kind of example of what I mean (minus the lipstick, unless that's what you want as well):

Actually, I've written tutorial of my ';classic smokey eye'; if you're interested. Here it is.

Emma鈥檚 Traditional Smokey Eye %26amp; Nude Lip

1. Wash your face. I know that seems like something that鈥檚 a given, but lots of people don鈥檛. Wash it with good old-fashioned soap and water, get rid of all the oil, cleanse it with a makeup wipe and dry. A lot of women don鈥檛 like the thought of using soap on their faces anymore because all of the ads tell us we shouldn鈥檛. Well, ignore it. Soap is fine. Really. Or, okay, if you鈥檙e really worried about it, use hypoallergenic soap (Jergens Gentle Soap, $4).

2. Do your eyes first, because if you do your face first and then you mess up your eye (say, you get powder on your face, happens to me every time), you鈥檒l have to redo your whole face. And that just sucks.

3. Now that the basics are over, curl your eyelashes before applying mascara. Always curl your eyelashes first, despite popular belief! If you curl them after mascara, you run the risk of pulling out lashes. For extra volume, hold your curler under the hairdryer for a couple seconds and then curl your lashes (make sure it鈥檚 not too hot). Now, apply the mascara. I recommend using black mascara for this particular look (Rimmel London Glam鈥?Eyes in Blackest Black, $8). You can apply a second coat if you want, but be warned that this may cause clumping.

4. Now that your mascara is applied, make sure there鈥檚 none on your eyelid or brow bone (has happened to me about a million times!). Now, prime your eyelid. Here, you can use an eye primer of your choice if you own one (e.l.f. Mineral Eye Primer, $3), or if you鈥檙e like me and you鈥檝e never even used one, you can use liquid foundation instead (Cover Girl TRUblend Liquid Foundation, $11). Foundation is the much cheaper alternative, I鈥檒l tell you that ($18 for eye primer?!). It鈥檒l prevent any creasing of your eyeshadow. Dab some onto your eyelids and rub it in well. Your eyes are now primed. Cheaply, too.

5. Now to apply eyeshadow. You will need four colours: black, light grey, dark grey (the greys are better if they are matte), and silver (the silver is best if it has shimmer 鈥?matte doesn鈥檛 highlight well). For this, I鈥檝e found Rimmel鈥檚 palette to be the best (Rimmel London Colour Rush Quad Kit in Smokey Noir, $5). I like to use a matte black for the eyelid (e.l.f. Mineral Eyeshadow in Seductive, $3). You can use the swatches or sponges that the cosmetics company gives you if you like, but I strongly, strongly recommend you get proper makeup brushes or the results will not be as good. I use e.l.f. brushes, which are good quality and very inexpensive (e.l.f. Professional Shadow Brush, $1, e.l.f. Contouring Eye Brush, $1).

6. Take your flat eye brush and apply the black onto your lid. Apply it carefully and all over your lid, moving up as you go. Make the shadow closest to your lash line very dark and get lighter as you move towards your crease. Fade out the black eyeshadow at your crease, then apply the dark grey into your crease and blend. The whole trick to this eye look (and most eye looks) is in the blending. Blend it in well, then proceed to applying the light grey shadow just above your crease and just below your brow bone. I recommend you use a contouring eye brush here, as it鈥檚 thinner and not flat (highlights much better). Make it overlap your crease slightly, and blend again. Finally, apply the silver eyeshadow to your brow bone, below your eyebrow. Blend it as well into the light grey, but apply ample amounts of silver for lots of shine and to highlight your eye.

7. I couldn鈥檛 do this without recommending the perfect eyeliner for this look. A lot of people would probably turn to kohl or pencil liner, but sometimes I find it can look much too harsh. I recommend instead using eyeshadow and an eyeliner brush (MAC Brush 266, $20). For the liner, we鈥檙e using black eyeshadow again, but if you want to set it apart from the shadow on your lids, use a black with a bit of shimmer rather than matte (MAC Eye Shadow in Black Tied Velvet). Wet your eyeliner brush. This is key. Wetting the brush makes the eyeshadow go on much more smoothly, less powder spills and far less messy, and a much more defined line. It will be like liquid eyeliner that dries to a powder finish, beautiful.

8. Okay, eyes are done! Now, for the nude lip. This is a great tip I picked up from a website that I have refined since I tried it. If you鈥檙e like me, you鈥檝e looked for that perfect nude lipstick and have bought several that just don鈥檛 work for you. They鈥檙e the wrong colour, too peachy, too pink, etc. So, first make sure your lips are well exfoliated. There鈥檚 nothing worse than applying lipstick to that perfect finish and then realizing that your lips are all flaky and ruining the effect. Here鈥檚 a simple tip: use a soft toothbrush and rub it over your lips gently to get rid of all the dead skin.

9. After you鈥檝e exfoliated them, you can apply to your lips a lip primer of your choice, or again if you鈥檙e like me, you don鈥檛 own one. Never fear, because I always use lip balm as a base instead and it works just fine (Mavi Island Formula Lip Balm SPF 15, $2). The only tip with the lip balm is to let it set for a minute or two, or it might be too moist when you apply anything on top of it.

10. Now take your liquid concealer and apply it to your lips (TRUblend Liquid Concealer, $10). Careful, though. I don鈥檛 know how many people are actually like me makeup-wise, but my concealer is always a couple shades lighter than my foundation. This made my lips chalk-white, as I have fair skin. If it happens that the concealer shows up far too light, use your liquid foundation instead 鈥?it matches your skin tone a lot better than concealer (which, again, you should be buying a couple tones lighter than your foundation). Spread it over your lips and let it set a minute or two. Don鈥檛 overdo it; if you need more concealer or foundation after, you can apply it after, overdoing it will just make you look like you鈥檙e wearing, well, foundation on your lips.

11. Okay, so you鈥檙e looking in the mirror and you鈥檙e thinking: God, does this nude lip ever make me look washed out. Why did I ever try this? If this happens to you (like it did to me), you need to add a VERY SMALL amount of colour. Any red lipstick will do the trick quite nicely (Maybelline Moisture Extreme Lipstick SPF 15 in Midnight Red, $8). Spread a very small amount of lipstick onto your fingertip and gently mix it into your lip. Keep doing this to desired colour. I found this vastly improved that washed-out look and gave me a perfect nude lip.

12. As a final tip (but not a must-have), apply a clear gloss over your nude lip to hydrate and add a bit of shine. I did this and it improved the look even more (L鈥橭real Infallible Never Fail Lipstick, $11, or any other clear stick/gloss).
You know, this video helps a lot for that. Although it's not all gunked on, it's still dark, and pretty. And non-trampish. :p http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N_YCqDNenKc

Maybe your family isn't used to you wearing a lot of dark makeup or probably don't want you wearing a lot of makeup to attract the wrong type of people(opposite sex). Girls can't seriously look like a tramp if they wear dark makeup and decent covered up clothes. Unless if you have on dark makeup and then you wear something that is barely covering you. Instead of wearing dark makeup somewhat gothic-like look, try something a little lighter, probably some kind of dark brown with black eye liner?

I really like how her eyes look but i have short lashes, any way i can make my eyes look like hers. here's the link; http://c1.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/images02/85/l_7372e515450e4d45876c951116169f08.jpgHow can I get my eye makeup to look like this pictures?
You may not need fake lashes, depending on how long yours are now. My cousin has lashes even longer than that, and she doesn't wear fakes! As for the top eye, either use a black liquid or penil eyeliner to make a thin (yes thin, the line looks a lot thicker once you open your eyes) line real close to your lashes. For the bottom eyeliner, use a pencil to line the insider of your bottom lid, and then line underneath your bottom lashes. Then smudge the bottom if you'd like, to make it more even. How can I get my eye makeup to look like this pictures?
She's really lucky, she either has naturally long lashes or good false ones.

False eyelashes are your best hope if you want lashes like hers. Lengthening mascara really helps as well (I use L'oreal, it's really good!) and stay away from dark eyeshadows as they'll make your eyes look smaller.

And drawing and smudging a thin line of black or dark brown eyeliner along your upper lash line is great for making lashes look longer too.

x
Use a few coats of volumizing mascara. after your eyelashes have completely dried take a eyelash curler, warm it up slightly with a hair dryer (make sure that it is not too hot) and then curl your lashes. Has the same concept as using a curling iron on your hair. Also when you warm the eyelash curler up, you can wipe off excess mascara build up.

hope this helps:)
without fake lashes.. use a lengthening mascara do 2 coats. and then get a volumizinging one and even get the back of your lashes to add more volume. Use an eyelash curler when your done. Also before you apply mascara use black eyeliner on the crease of your top and lower lids.
she has lush eyelashes! very lucky!

what i do is:

1. apply your mascara (rimmel london glam-eyes is very good!!)

2. then separate them with tweezers; so squeeze about 3 together.

3. once you have done this get the end of your brush and stroke the exes mascara onto each lash!

4. once it has dried gently use another mascara normally over that.(rimmel london volume flash, ideally)

i know it sounds crazy but my mate showed me how to do it and it looks well good once you get the hang of it!

hope i helped : )

Cute costume idea! That ought to be good fun :)

You'll want to begin with a VERY even coat of foundation. Foundations in the 1960s were a lot heavier and thicker than they are today (think Max Factor's Pan-Cake and Pan-Stik- both still available, btw) , so to re-create that look, I'd say use a thick cream foundation and cover your face in it. If you're using something that thick, be sure to cover everywhere- by your nostrils, lip, etc., and buff it in well so it's even. Then you'll want to set it with translucent powder to create that even look.

The model's face appears to have been done very matte and very pale, so go light on the blusher if you decide to use it at all. Instead of blusher, maybe opt for a light highlighter on your cheekbones instead? The model here looks like she's had some pretty intense contouring done on her cheeks (darker blusher is brushed below her cheekbones and blended so that they appear to recede and her face looks thinner), so that's something you could look into if you're interested, but for the Mod look it's hardly required.

As for the eyes- The false lashes are going to do most of the work for you. Get some long black false lashes (they might look a little frightening in the package, but they'll look authentic once they're on), and apply those, blending in with black mascara. Curl the falsies and your real lashes once they're applied. Either opt for a very neutral, matte shadow, or none at all (possibly just your setting powder), and use black liquid liner to draw a heavy winged line on your upper lid only. The model here has an extremely heavy line on her upper lid, it seems to go almost to the middle of her eyelid at its widest point. Make sure you flare it out a bit into a cat's eye shape, and make sure that the ends are even (same length, same angle, you know). It sounds fiddly but it's not too bad :)

If you want to recreate the model's look exactly, use a white eyeliner pencil to line your waterline only, and use black eyeliner pencil (Prestige's waterproof eyeliners are quite good, as are Urban Decay's) to add a thinner, but still winged line out just past the corner of your eye. Make sure the line starts thinner toward the inner corner of your eye and gets thicker as it approaches the outer corner.

For your lips, you'll want a light nude or pale pink color lipstick. Again, matte was more popular during the 1960s, but shimmers are easier to find nowadays. Just follow the natural contours of your lips and blot to get an even look. You can cover this with a clear or matching gloss if it makes you more comfortable. The model in the picture you provided has a very beige-colored lipstick on, so keep that in mind if you're looking to re-create her look exactly.

Mod was all about they eyes, so make sure you play them up while subduing the rest of your face. It's not going to look at all natural or subtle, so have lots of fun with it!

Hope I could help, sorry for the long explanations.

Cheers! How do i get my eye makeup to look like this? (pic)?
maybelline has an eyeshadow kit that has black, white and silver.

put the silver on the inside corner, put the black on the rest of your lid (i personally like to add a middle color to make my eye color pop-and blend) put some white on the top lid (not so that it's WHITE -just so it shimmers and contrasts with the black. Add some black liquid eyeliner and mascara! looks cute, good luck)
You'll need:

black liquid eyeliner

black eyeshadow

beige eyeshadow

white shimmery eyeshadow

black mascara

eyeshadow brush

eyelash curler

angled eyeliner brush

foundation primer

First, apply foundation primer to your eyelids so the eyeshadow has something to cling to. Next, apply beige shadow below the eyebrow on the brow bone. Next apply white shimmery shadow to the inner corners of the eyelids.

Next, take the black eyeshadow and apply to the entire eyelid and extend to the crease and just below the browbone, and extend the eyeshadow past the outer corners of the eye, making sure the eyeshadow comes to a point. Next, take the black liquid liner and trace a thin line long the top lashes, and extend beyond the outer corners of the eye to a ';cateye'; look. Then, trace a medium sized line along the lower lashline, also extending sightly outside the outer corner, and make the line come to a point (like above, but not a far beyond the outer corner of the eye).

Finally, curl the lashes and apply 2 coats of mascara to top lashes only. Do not apply mascara to the bottom lashes.
To start, take black or a dark brown/purple shade of eyeliner.

Apply a thick line to the top eyelid while taking index finger and pulling outside corner of eye towards ear so that it makes a straight, even application. (make sure it hugs the lashline)

Next, open the eye. On the end of the outer corner, draw another layer curving upward. Sort of cat-like.

Now take a white eyeliner and apply to the inside of your bottom waterline. Also make sure to get the inside corner. Right underneath, go back with the black liner and under your bottom lashes, apply a light line.

Next, take a grey-silvery eyeshadow and lightly apply it on top of the THICK black liner you just applied. Do not put on too much or the liner will dissappear.

After all liners and shadows have been applied, start your lashes. Curl your top lashes with lash curler for 5 seconds per eye. (dont curl bottom) Now use a thick, black mascara. Such as collossal lash blast (the big yellow and purple tube). Apply several coats to both the top and bottom lashes, esp. the top.

This should work well for the eyes! I have done this look on my customers several times and it comes out great! It really makes your eye color POP
I understand the dramatic eye, I really do, but don't you think she looks a bit like a chameleon with the eye makeup? It makes them look like they're bulging out, and it seems they're looking in two different directions.

I wouldn't go for that look.
Haha, she looks a little like an alien. But you should try www.youtube.com for make up tutorials. I think this is the closest to what you want: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8FSnCwJtX鈥?/a>

Black shimmery eye shadow, black liner, liquid. White eyeshadow near the tear ducts, long black false eyelashes with two coats of black mascara. Good luck. Looks pretty difficult.
its not her makeup. shes just wearing black eyeshadow and eyeliner (and white eyeshadow on the inner corners). its the fake lashes that are doing it.
white eyeliner in the corner of your eyes, black liquid eyeliner on the bottom, and black eyeshadow applied on the top.

make it look ';winged';.
Its not real they like add extra stuff on the computer and it's a little heavy.
That's a little drastic for daytime.
smashbox eyelight is what they use to get the white.

How do I get my eye makeup to look clean and fresh?

No matter how thin I put on my eyeliner, it always looks smudgey and dirty. I don't rub my eyes or anything. My mascara always looks clumpy and trashy.

I bought liquid eyeliner because i thought it wouldn't smear, but it looks like it did. and i suck at putting on liquid. so i have a pencil, and i always keep it superr sharpened!

and whenever i put on eyeshadow, it looks like im wearing wayyyy too much makeup, even though i don't put dark eyeshadow on. i look like a whoree!

helpppp meeee

(and its just my eye-makeup.)How do I get my eye makeup to look clean and fresh?
This is most likely happening because you have small eyes. Try lining either just your lid and push the pencil into your lashes.. It can be more effective if you stretch your eye out and draw the line from the outside in. If you really want to line the bottom, line your eyes along the water line. It's really tough to line below it without looking goth, unless you use a light brown pencil. As far as eye shadow goes, I don't usually wear it because I think liner and mascara look fine alone together. (Oxymoron?)

Go for a bone colour, which is like a whitish cream, and if that makes you look goth then your skin has some serious issues! For mascara, cheap stuff tends to clump together. Your best bet is to go a bit mroe expensive. I use BADGAL Lash by Benefit but thats $30. I find that new Covergirl stuff that Drew Barymore endorses (in the orange tube? Lash express or something) works great! Put the brush in your lashes at the base and as youre moving the brush up, wiggle it. This will make sure you coat all the lashes evenly and spread them out at the same time!

Hope this helped, best of luck! How do I get my eye makeup to look clean and fresh?
Ok, try using primer to help things stick, or a soft cream eyeshadow. Never put any of your eyeshadow over your crease, unless your defining your eye with a natural color. For mascara, never apply to the bottom lashes, otherwise it'll smudge. If you smile a lot like me, that's probably why your liner smudges, it catches on to your cheeks... I really don't know? what colors are you using??? do natural colors if your really worried. I used to do this, then I moved to soft golds, plum liner etc.
ionvest in better quality makeup. you probably buy like drugstore brand makeup, which isnt very good. try mac or sephora. their makeup lasts the whole day, and there wont be any need to reapply it thru out the day either. gluck!
Just don't wear eyeliner if it looks so bad. Find eyeshadow that matches your skin tone
apply foundation on it first then do your makeup slowly it does help=D

How do I get my eye makeup to look good and stay on?

I always wear eyeliner and often eyeshadow and I like the colours to be vibrant and sharp, but my problem is, I find that it rubs off and smears!

If I have been wearing just plain eyeliner for a few hours, it smudges all underneath my eyes, half of it rubs off and it doesn't look sharp any more.

When I wear eyeshadow I like bright colours but it always fades away and smudges, loosing it's sharpness after about an hour!

Any tips on how to make it look sharper and last longer?

Thanks,

xHow do I get my eye makeup to look good and stay on?
I use to have the same problem until i started using an eye shadow primer. A good affordable one that you can find at most stores is L'oreal de-crease eye shadow base. How do I get my eye makeup to look good and stay on?
Try and buy a really good eye base , e.g UDPP (urban decay primer potion) or I like BeneFit's creaseless cream shadows. First put the base over your lid then wait and put on the eyeliner and the e/s. The smearing and smudging could also be caused by bad quality e/s, buy some MAC they have an enormous range of colours and last ages.
Use a waterproof eyeliner a good one though the avon one is really good it stays on.

As for your eyes before you apply the eyeshadow add a little nivea cream on your eyes then add a base coat that is almost the same colour as your skin then apply a thin layer of the colour that you want... Finally at your top coat

xxxxxxxxx
use MAC!!! Trust me!

I had that problem too. Get a Shadestick in the color closest to your skin tone, and use some awesome colors to just layer over that. I recommend the Mineral Eyeshadow Duos %26amp; Trios...They have really awesome color and they look so beautiful. I've gone day and night never reapplying and it seriously NEVER creases.
You need to buy a brand of make-up that actually stays on.

I used to have the same problem with my eye-liner and eye shadow.

Bobby Browns stuff is good (get it in big departmental chains, like John lewis etc...) and it lasts all day! Its totally fab!

Costs a wee bit though, but its deffinitely worth it!
Try Benefit make up. The eyeshadow is a cream and stays all day, no creases or anything. The mascara's the same, no panda eyes!

Can be pricey, but the stuff lasts months.

Even after a long night duty, my eye make up is exactly as it was when I put it on! Awesome!

use a face primer it makes makeup stay in place

all day.

sephora has really good primer.

http://www.sephora.com/search/search_res鈥?/a>
Get a good eye make up base when putting your foundation on put it over your lids under the eye make up base the press in the eye shadow with applicator.... waterproof mascara and eyeliner in as far to the eye as possible
Use better quality make up. Buy an eye primer or eye crayon that works good as a base and then apply your eyeshadow, you will find the colour is more vivid and it will last a lot longer.

sephora makeup works really really well. you should try wetting the eye shadow brush, it makes the color more vibrant. waterproof eyeliner works very very well.
Put on very little, make up takes away your outside beauty..
try waterproof eyeliner = ]
i had the same problem with my eyeshadow, it would never stay on! get a non scented lip chap and use your finger to put some on your eyelids, works amazingly:)
use and eye shadow primer. the brand ';too faced'; has one, google it
Wel what i do is out a base on my eyelid 1st, then apply the eyeshadow!

Any type eye crayon will do barry m are good www.barrym.com hope this helps xx
liquid eye liner works best it doesnt smear as long as u let it dry. but im not so sure about the eyeshadow
Sure!!

First, use a good loose powder that is for like oily skin and pressed in your eyelids, then look for a good primer made for eyeshadow, M.A.C. has one quite good, or also use the Maybelline mineral concealer as primer too, I had seen it gives a good base to prolong the color without fading that fast. I had also use what is called in M.A.C. ';Mixing medium'; where you just damp lightly the brush you will use, besides the colors will be looking more vibrant having a better consistency to staying longer put. You can make a homemade version using one part of Glycerin (look for it in drugstores or Wal-Mart) and three parts of water in a bottle, then shake well and with a tiny drop damping the brush as I mentioned before and then pick the eyeshadow of your choice.

Eyeliner does better if is liquid, and waterproof, but you can also place a dark eyeshadow, saying black pencil eyeliner and then over it the black eyeshadow.

Try it, and see if it helps you ;)

  • How do I get my eye makeup to look like Amy Lee's?

Amy uses at lot of Nars makeup-they have a lot of rich colors that can be used for a dramatic look. Eyeliner is key-use a smudge brush to distort the line so you get that smokey eye effect. Try Angel Heart by Nars. For shadow, apply a matte shade (no shimmer) all over the lid and then use a metallic shade in the crease. Use a lighter shimmer shade on the brow bone and use lots of mascara. Keep in mind to use colors that also compliment your skintone. You don't necessarily have to use the blacks and greys that she does. You can create a great dramatic look with blues and browns as well. How do I get my eye makeup to look like Amy Lee's?

whenever you have extra spare time, just try some different ways, colors, anything.

no, everyone is beautful in thier own way.without makeup, but you dont have the right to judge us 13 year olds who wear alot of makup! i have worn makeup since the 5th grade[sad i know] because my mom wants me to learn from my own mistakes[because i am rather hard headed] and sicen i started wearing makeup at such a young age, when i dont wear any, or wear less makeup, everyones like ';eww, you look dead'; or ';why do you look funny?'; so its hard to stop wearing it. remember, not everyone is born with natural beauty and perfect skin like you are! im having a hard time being nice to you, since you are acting so snobbish that 13 year olds wear makeup. try going easier on young kids who wear alot of makeup, ok? you may not know the real reason they do it.Do you really need eye makeup to look pretty?
i don't think you do. if your naturally pretty, don't waste your money on makeup!

but I'm definitely not against eye makeup, i don't think its essential but i think its helpful to some people.

i use alittle eyeliner and mascara to bring out my eyes and make them as pretty as possible.

so all and all spend your money how you want. if you feel you need it, go for it.
Of course you dont, most girls are beautiful without, even if i think i look prettier with eye make-up lol

i think its just because showing off your eyes is beautiful (i think the eyes are the most gorgeous part of youu anyway) so thats maybe why, but good for you for not plastering your face with crap! lol you sound like a very down-to-earth (beautiful) girl without it! =P
no, I really do not think there is any need to wear eye makeup. speaking from personal experience none of my close friends wears any eye makeup and we haven't had any problems meeting guys if that is one thing your worried about... two of us have boyfriends currently and the other friend just got out of a relationship... so do not worry :)
EWH... too much equals cover up and cover up means insecure!! If you are into any makeup a great bronzer for the summer or press powder to reduce shine is nice. BUT at your age your bestfriend is always a great mascara and lipgloss thats it. When you get a little older try a top liner for night gatherings. (ex. prom)

Your young and tender people in Laguna beach and The Hills are dying to have your flawless skin dont ruin it like those other silly gurls just to appear older because once your there you can never get it back so enjoy!
nope im 14 n i only wear mascara n lip gloss n sumtimes power but only in the winter when my face get red omg i hate it like that lol
Nah, you don't need it, but on some girls, it helps. People don't realize how they don't need that much makeup. Some is okay, but they dont need to cake it on.
No you don't NEED make up to look pretty, it's just sometimes a little nicer.

as for those who where a crap load -as you put it-.... well first of all they're damaging their skin and secondly wonder what they look like without it?

Make up should always be moderate, it can only amplify beauty not create it.
    Omg no way!!

    =]
omg no way! haha i'm the same age and the only make up i wear on my eyes usually is mascara. hope that helps =]
    Deffinatly not.

    Nobody Needs Eye Makeup.

The only reason why all the little teenagers wear eye make up is because they are insicure, or they just like it.

Evferyones different, but i dont think anyone NEEDS eye makeup.

What are some cool ways or look for rocker eye makeup????

like aly and aj, kelly clarkson, and a little of hilary duff.....pics would be nice......best one gets best answer! What are some cool ways or look for rocker eye makeup????
I do this and It looks awesome and really pretty. I use liquid eyeliner on top. Thin line. If mess up use q-tip to fix.

I curl my eyelashes so they are really long.

I use a line of blueish-green eyeliner that shimmers and it's a little thicker line then the black eyeliner. Blue is not liquid.

Then whith what you have left before the crease use brown preferably liquid.

    On bottom put mascara

Then use liquid eyeliner where eyelashes start

then use white eyeliner where eyeliner goes without going over black.

use a blue eyeshadow tad bit lighter then on lids and go underneath eyelashes underneath your eye.

sounds confusing but if you do it right it looks really pretty and rockerWhat are some cool ways or look for rocker eye makeup????

ooo look through magazines, and if u dont have any go 2 he library and look at some things through cool magazines. but i saw really cool eye makeup that was like really thin black eyeliner around the whole eye with a striking metalic liquid eyeliner right above the thin black eyeliner on the top lid. try a bunch of different colors like different color of eyeliner, mascara, top lid, crease, corner of ur eye lid, ur brow bone etc. awesome look!

Makeup tips! How to do the 'smokey eye' look? Eye lid foundation?

I've heard that you should use a foundation on your eyelids so that the eyeshadow will stay in place. What foundation do I use? Where do I get it? (Perferably cheap) and then how do i go about doing the rest of it?

Also, I have to dress up as a pirate, and I've been looking at Jack Sparrow for ideas, any other suggestions?Makeup tips! How to do the 'smokey eye' look? Eye lid foundation?
My favorite look is smokey eyes, so sexy. Yes, applying foundation on eyelids helps shadow stay longer. For the effect, you need 3 shades of greys or silvers, light, dark and medium. Also a black eyeliner and black mascara, any kind should be fine as long as its not too cheap that the makeup clumps. First, apply the foundation, then eyeliner on upper lid and lower get as close to lashes as possible, then smudge. Second, apply the darker shade one layer, top it with the medium shade, then the lighter and voila smoke eyes, don't forget to put some shimmer in the tip, where tears come from, dont know what its called but that little dip between the nose bridge and the eyes. Good luck and have fun!Makeup tips! How to do the 'smokey eye' look? Eye lid foundation?
Well, black eye liner, gray black eye shadow on the lid with a light layer of green, and under the brow light gray.Good luck! And wih the eyeliner,go out a little biit
ZA Black eye liner, smoke it out.
I have green eyes, so I usually go for a subtle smokey look. Normally, I put foundation down....I use Revlon Colorstay (but that is expensive, and stays in place really well)--then use a bit of eyeliner (Jack Sparrow's got ALOT of it on...so if you're modelling after him, it should be a pretty good amount). The smokey look always looks best in eye shadow cream....if you use powder it doesn't look as pronounced. Go to walmart, when in doubt.

For the overall outfit? I dunno....look into some gacho pants and boots!

What eye makeup would look best on these people?

ok so the first person is tan/pale with reddish/orange and extremely tight curly long hair. this person is convinced green is her color and i am completely convinced that it isn't. Is green really peoples' eye shadow color if they are red heads?

the second person is pale with medium length brown hair that has very loose natural curls and huge eye lashes

ok so what color eye shadow do you think would be best on these people and please be specific like light green or dark green. And does black eye liner and mascara look good on everybody?

So the reason for all these strange questions is i like finding make up that look good on people through experimenting on them, like myself. But unfortunately i haven't been able to see what looks the best on these people because of the lack of time. So i am leaving it up to you.

What eye makeup would look best on these people?
Black eyeliner and mascara does NOT look good on everyone. Black isn't a color that brings out colors of most eyes (except very light blue eyes.) I wouldn't recommend that color to either of you. Being fair-skinned, black would look too heavy. Use a dark brown or brown. It compliments more eye colors and you basically can never go wrong with those colors.

For the girl who is pale with orange hair, if you personally think she doesn't look good in green, odds are she doesn't. If she is insistent on going green, I can give you some advice on swaying her over to more natural, neutral colors.

First off, pale with orange haired girls look gorgeous in tans, oranges, and golds. All these colors are paired off gorgeously with green.

For her makeup, I would do this:

    1. Prep eyelid with some concealer. This will make the eyeshadow show more, and will make it stay on longer.

    2. Dust the entire eye (lid to brow) with a base color. The base shadow should be a very soft/light yellow.

    3. Highlight the entire lid with either a gold color, or for a more natural look, a beige-tan.

    4. In the entire crease and a little above, take an angled-brush and brush some burnt orange color there.

    5. To create more depth, (and withhold your friends favorite color on her) put some dark green in the outer crease.

    6. Finish it off with some BROWN-dark brown mascara. Black would be an over-kill. Especially for the fact that she is fair.

For the girl with pale hair with brown hair, you can do a number of things, you could even do the same look as your friend because that look compliments everyone. Or, you could do a brown casual smokey eye.

    1. Prep eyelid with some concealer.

    2. Dust a neutral yellow color over your entire eye (brow to lid.)

    3. Put a medium brown on entire lid.

    4. Put a medium-dark to dark brown in the entire crease and a little above.

    5. Line entire eye with a dark brown, focusing on the outer corners.

    6. Finish off with some dark brown mascara.

    u have pretty eyes :)

mettalic eye shadows look great on alot of people

brown or plum eyeliner would make your eye color pop

    black mascara is classic

navy mascara can make the whites of your eyes whiter as well as make your eye color stand out

blue or teall eyeshadow would also look nice

loreal hip pigments have nice products for good prices at any drugstore

    good luck :)
just by looking at your i would say bronze and golds cause ur so fair complected you might also want to try biege or if u want a color color try i nice floral green or light plumb ... think out side the box, its might sound wierd but dont apply to much all over the eye just a little on the lid.
i say pinks and browns i personally use avons new mark products their the best visit my personal consultants page u can shop or just browse from there and if u register she can tell you about the upcoming specials personal consultants web page is www.youravon.com/jsmoot-agee
I think the best look on you would be dark brown eyeliner, on the top and bottom would look cute. and then some brownish black mascara. because black eye makeup looks really hard on people with light hair and from what i can see your hair is pretty light. you don't really need eyeshadow.
you should go to the store and checfk ot the almay line of make up they have some colors to match your eys and make them pop out im sure if you add some brown liner on your lower lid it will also make your eyes stand out especialy with glasses.you should go for green hues, blueish, purples

it looks good it would look alot better if it was darker it would bring out your eyes that would look hella prettyI did a smokey eye/ gray eye makeup. i was wondering if you think it looks good.?
okay...you obviously need better pointers on it. i suggest going on youtube and searching for the kim kardashian smokey eye tutorial. you don't really need to look at anything but the third video. you need more eyeliner, darker shadow, and way more mascara. but your complexion is very nice, so don't even worry about blush or cover up or anything
I like it. It's smokey, but not too dramatic. It accentuates your skin tone and I like your lip gloss. The eyeshadow is strong, but I think it can also be worn during the day.
i think it look pretty but i sugest useing a bit of silvery eye shadow it creats a more smokey look and it draws more attention to ur pretty eyes!
maybe try putting makeup all over your face, like prep your skin, because the eye makeup just seems out of place
you have pretty eyes! : )

you should defiantly make it darker though

it's too light for the smokey eye look

What Eye Makeup Colours Look Good With Green Eyes?

So, I've always heard that purples look very pretty with my green eyes, but I do NOT want to be wearing purple shadow 24/7. (Though I've also been complimented when I do the smokey eye look.) Reds compliment greens. What Eye Makeup Colours Look Good With Green Eyes?
I'd go with grays and browns.. Chanel makes pretty palettes.. Dark grey color ebony by chanel. mac colors- mythology, bronze, studied brown, honesty, botanical. Depending on your skin color and hair I'd prob do a dark brown eye linner and/or black liner. Chanel, dior, they all make good ones. You may want to even take a pencil and draw some lines and rub it in with a brush in the corners to give u that grayish smokey look.. You can also email me if you need more help. The ones I listed besides botanical and honestly are darker colors that would go in your outer corner, while the two would be better for your inner eye, but make sure to blend completely. Then just use a highlighter color like a pinky white (similar to your skin color though) to do under your brow.
Almay has a line of different eye color eyeshadow to make that certain eye color pop.

I recommend you look for it at a walmart or walgreens or any store like that.

I hope that helps you! :)
She doesn't, a loada makeup stylists come and do it for her.

But for the first one i reckon its liquid liner right underneath the eye, then eyeshadow on underneath that and on top of the lid (put on with quite a thin brush to get that smoky look), and a darker shade of eyeshadow put on in the crease of the eyelid to finish it off. but don't forget, it is all lighting on her too that makes it look even more perfect.

And on the 2nd one, her eyes are just lined with a black kohl pencil all the way around. But a load of professionals will still have done it for her....

Remember real people aren't expected to have make-up like that though!!

    :D

    xx
    Smudge dark eyeshadow.
    professional help ?
    i don't know
    Looks very professional.

Takes practice; I've been doing peoples make up.

If I were you'd I'd find a great picture print it out and take it with you to buy make up. Match up the colors then just play with it and see how close you can get.
She doesnt she has a professional do it all for her
Well she does have a professional stylist to do it for her, so you won't be able to copy her completly.

    BUT:

Smudge dark eyeshadow all over your eye, but blend it in with white so it doensn't look too emo.

Then apply a little bit of black eyeliner.

Then to complete the look, add LOADS of mascara.
she has her make up artist do it for her but If you really want it like that apply a light coat of eyeliner as close to you're eyeball as possible without actually getting it in the eye. when you're applying eyeshadow use a brush you would use for blush also when applying eyeshadow along with you're usual color apply a little bit of white on the crease and on the side of the eyes. Then simply apply a lot of mascara.
in the first pic she lines the insides of her eyes with black liner and wears a darker shadow and smudges it.

the second is exactly the same but the liner is applied thicker and it looks like the shadow is darker.

google how to do a smokey eye look!

    hope this helped!
apply eye liner smudge it or you can apply black eyeshadow under the eyeliner.
Eyeliner, and a charcoal colored eye shadow

Wet down a thin brush and dip it in the charcoal shadow line over where you had appied your eyeliner. Then Use a new brush and apply a bit of brown in the crease of your eyes, and around the rest of your lined eye. use a little goldish color and apply it to the lid of the eye.

    Lastly apply mascara.

    Good luck!@
Both of those pictures show a really smokey eye look, which I love. She's using a brown shadow to do this and that looks better than a dark color. Let me try to tell you how I do this look. Get an eyeshadow pallet with 3 colors, a very light highlighter/base shade, all over lid color and a darker contour/liner color. Take the light shade and put it all over your lid all the way up to your brow. Then take the middle shade and apply this all over your lid and up into the crease of your eye. Take the darkest shade and put it just in the crease of your eye, where it feels like your eye is sinking into the socket. Then blend that dark color with a bigger blending brush to make it look smokey. Next take a q tip and smudge the darker shade on your top lash line and then do it under your lower lash line. Next take eyeliner and line the top and bottom lashlines. Take a black pencil and line the inner lower rim of your eye. Then apply 2 coats of black mascara. I hope I didn't confuse you with my instructions. Practice makes perfect and you'll get it.
Mascara and smudge of black eyeshadow on top and bottom.

why would you want YOUR make-up to look like hers??? definitely trashy look
she pays ppl- to do it for her, or what my chick does is she brushes on like shadow but very lightly
eyeliner, and a dark shadow, gray or black. use a makeup brush, not those little sponge things that come in an eyeshadow pack to apply it. theres no real way to tell you how its all in your individual skill, but id just buy some black eyeshadow and practice
    That's called smokey eyes.

Smokey eye makeup is essentially a makeup application that darkens the lids and highlights the brow bone. This effortless eye makeup trick will draw instant attention to your eyes and provide an overall sultry, sexy look. People always think of dark, dramatic colors when they hear smokey. Although the look can definitely be dramatic, it is not necessarily dark. The real secret to the smoky look is in the color eyeshadow you use. Smoky eye makeup should be done with care and style. This type of eye makeup suits any face type and helps show up the brow bone.

    What you need before started:

    1. Medium - grey eyeshadow

    2. Loose powder

    3. Black Mascara

    4. Eye Primer

    5. Dark Eyeshadow

    6. Magic Lash

Steps to Create Best Smoky Eyes

Follow these easy steps and get the best results for a smoky eye makeup:

Step 1. Apply eyeliner perectly. Apply your base eyeshadow all over the upper eyelid. Blend well with a base brush.

Step 2. First start with a sheer nude color all over the eye. Go from lid to brow.

Step 3. Next, apply a dark brown or plum eyeshadow from your lid to your crease.

Step 4. Finish with two coats of black mascara.

Step 5. Don't forget to enhance your eyebrows to balance strong ';smoky eyes'; makeup.

    Eye Makeup Tips

    1. Use eye shadows to reflect your every mood. With a bit of practice you can easily master how to apply your eye shadow. When applying eye shadow, remember that dark colors recede features and light colors highlight.

    2. Apply the lightest shade over the entire eyelid.

    3. Apply the medium shade on the lower eyelid.

    4. Apply the darkest shade in the outer corner of the eye to create depth.

    5. Apply eyeliner with short strokes, starting form the center of the eye and working towards the corners.

    6. Mascara finishes your makeup. If you have dark eyes use black, navy, dark brown or clear mascara.

    7. Dark eye shadow can be used as eyeliner as well. Use a very flat brush, wet is and dip it in dark eye shadow. Wriggle the brush into your lash line paying special attention to the space between the lashes and then use the color just above your lash line.

sure can. thats one thing about a smokey eye it is never out of style and fits with every oufit possible. the more you experiment the more you will see.

What kind of makeup would look right with my hair and eye color?

I have naturally dark brown hair, blue eyes (almond shaped), fair skin, and freckles. I have NO clue what sort of makeup would enhance or play up these features. Any help, plz? Also, what's the best way to great smokey eye makeup with almond shaped eyes? thanks so much! What kind of makeup would look right with my hair and eye color?
I'm similar to you, but my hair is more red. Anyway, you can do some great smokey eye looks with greens, or purples, brown/bronze, or even grays. For everyday, I stick with shimmery beige e/s, and a pencil liner in brown, plum, olive green, etc.

I have a few favorite tutorials on You Tube - you should watch this one, she does a great job with blending with her almond eyes:

http://youtube.com/watch?v=ZLxMfBL6QqEWhat kind of makeup would look right with my hair and eye color?
Dark/light brown, sky blue, light creamy yellow, indigo blue, natural green eye shadows. Dark brown, black mascara and brown or blue eye liner. NOT black.
well that sounds like me i have read everywhere yellows and orang but acutally i have been using GREEN and PINK they bring out your eyes and also try taupes
    i would say,

    black eyeliner and masscara,

and a nice green, or maybee glittery blue eye shadow,

and a peachy lip colour ?
Toffee colored shadow, soft brown liner, pale pink gloss, brown mascara.

    for smokey eye:

    use grays and black mascara.
I'm just like you but I have blonde hair and very light freckles but I have dark blue eyes and I find that using light shades of blue and pinks really helps my eyes standout. With the darker make-up it stands out more with fairer skin and sometimes it doesn't look so good. But smokey eyes look great for night time like if your going out.

My eye makeup always seems to have come off by the end of a night out making me look crap?

i think its cause my eyelids are a bit greasy, any tips for it staying on?My eye makeup always seems to have come off by the end of a night out making me look crap?
Buy an eyeshadow primer, it will help your eyeshadow stay on longer. If you wear eyeliner try using waterproof. Go to a MAC store or counter and let them know what your looking for, the can make great suggestions to help you out. I use the MAC primer for my eyes and it really makes a difference, it helps keep my make up on longer, and makes the colors stand out more!My eye makeup always seems to have come off by the end of a night out making me look crap?
Use Too Faced eyeshadow primer to allow your makeup to last all day and night. You can also put that under your eyes too, it helps your concealer to not crease. On top of the primer i also use a MAC Paint Pot. i love Painterly, around $20 well worth it, and lasts a really long time. Your eyeshadow should not crease if both is used. My eyelids tend to get oily after awhile, but using both allow my makeup to last all day and night. If you are using an eyeliner on your waterline and you tend to produce a lot of tears(moisture in your eyes) it will end up on the lower part of your eyes. Try using a waterproof eye liner.

    Good Luck!
I have the same problem. I suggest you apply an eyeshadow primer before your shadow and liner. This will set your makeup and it will not crease. I usually wear MAC Paints, but just recently discovered Too Faced Shadow Insurance, which works well. Tons of people swear by Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion, but personally I hate the packaging. (After awhile you'll need to perform surgery on the tube in order to remove access product that you cannot get to with the regular applicator.) There are also primers by Smashbox, Benefit (F.Y. Eye), Amazing Cosmetics, Laura Geller (Eye Spackle) that you can try. It's a trial and error game, so hopefully one of these will work for you!
    Urban Decay Primer Potion

This is an eyeshadow primer. It makes your eyes smoother so the shadow doesn't crease and it makes the makeup stay on longer.

You put a little on your eyelids and rub it all over then apply make up.

    http://www.urbandecay.com/categories/Eye鈥?/a>
no it happens to everyone. nothing much we can do about it.

maybe you should try a different eye make-up? for instance shimmer powder, or try mixing vaselinre with the eye-shadow, then put that on. that might work :)

please may you answer my question if possible?! thank you soo much if you do!
get a mineral makeup product. it is natural and it is waterproof.
Urban Decay Primer Potion will work. You can get it at sephora.com.

What you need is an eyeshadow base.

Or A MAC paintpot from maccosmetics.com.
    use bareminerals eye shadow

    its not cheap

but its a powder so its very dry!

Is this eye makeup too much for everyday daytime school look?

what would your reaction be to a girl that wore this type of eye makeup everyday for daytime school look ((((((outer v using black eyeshadow and eyeliner)))))? looking at a girl with such black eye makeup, is it too much for everyday daytime school look for school? Is this eye makeup too much for everyday daytime school look?
If your not comfortable dont do it!!!

Itz a night time look!!!11Is this eye makeup too much for everyday daytime school look?
eyeliners a must. welll, for me at least. d:

the black eyeshadow might be a bit much. it depends on how you use it though. like if you use a light shadow and a little of the black in the outer v just to deepen it up that would be fine. (: because i do that all the time for school. just don't overdue it on the black. (:

    hope this helped. (:
when i see a girl with black or any dark eyeshadow then i think she is either emo or a ****. unless they are asian. i dont know why but when asian people wear black eyeshadow it just looks good. lol

try using a brown eyeshadow. goodluck =)
It would be too much for me to want to look at but if that's how you want to wear your makeup, go ahead. Don't worry about what anyone thinks. As long as you are happy with it is all that matters.
It sortof depends on what you look like, but i think you should skip the black eyeshadow and use eyeliner and mascara thats what i do :)
    Just wear black eyeliner.
yea, just wear black eyeliner in your inner eye top and bottom lid and black mascara...
    just wear black eyeline

dont over due it, its just for schooool.
    yes. emo???
put up a picture then ill decide but it sounds kinda dark looking...

I need tips on getting a ';rocker'; look. With my eye makeup?

Okay I want really dramatic eyes. I know a few ways but i want to change it up a bit.. so please help give ideas and colors and what brand of make up to use.. also i am getting fake eyelashes should i put then on before or after i apply my eye makeup? THANKSI need tips on getting a ';rocker'; look. With my eye makeup?
Hey....go to Hot Topic and look for a little round, black container with black eye shadow in it. It is the best-working stuff I've been able to find! then go to MAC and find a really bright purple or teal or green (the HIP brand from Walmart also works really well!)....anything bold. Black eye liner and mascara. Apply the color shadow from the very inside corner of your eye all the way to the outside corner below the crease. Then apply your eye liner....pull the outside corner of your eye out and up as you do it...it will make it a LOT easier. Dont start at the very inside corner when putting on eye liner, it has a tendency to make the eye look smaller. Instead, start at the inside edge of the colored part of your eye. Dont follow the curve of your eye....but make a straight line all the way across that extends out at the outside corner about the width of your eyeliner pencil. Then where that line stops....make another line connecting it to the outside corner. I know that sounds confusing...but think of it as a a triangle...and the ';connecting'; line is the longest side. then fill in the ';triangle space'; with eye liner. Then you take the black eye shadow and at the crease on the outside half of your eye...make a arch going from the middle of the crease to the ';triangle'; you just made with your eyeliner. This will make the eyes very dramatic and POP!! then on the bottom...go from the outside corner to just about the middle of the eye w/ eye liner! you dont want to go all the way to the inside corner!...it'll make your eyes look small! then curl your lashes and apply a sinful amount of mascara! If you will turn the blow dryer on your eyelash curler for just about 10 seconds, it will make the curl last a lot longer and be more dramatic! start at the outter lashes and put the wand at the base (where the lashes meet the eye) and wiggle your brush back and forth and then stop and run it up to the end of your lashes! Try to do it all in one coat....if you stick your wand back in the mascara and try to go over it again, that's when you get clumps!! Dont put any mascara on your lower lashes (unless just on the outter ones)...again makes the eyes look small! Then if you have any shimmery translucent powder ( I like Loreal Translucide illuminating powder in Angelic) dab it on the bottom half of the inside corner of your eye to finish! Phew! :) Here's a link to my picture...mine isn't very dramatic...but you can kind of see the 'triangle' on the outside corner with the eyeliner and arch with the black eye shadow. All you have to do to make it more dramatic is extend the triangle out further...make the black shadow a bit darker and use a bright bold color on the lid below the crease!!

http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=viewImage%26amp;friendID=6554014%26amp;imageID=1244183763I need tips on getting a ';rocker'; look. With my eye makeup?
Try a Liquid eyeliner any brand will do, and paint on a line on the upper lid not too thick but thick enough to make a statement. I wouldn't go with fake eyelashes they are a pain. Try Mabelline's black lengthening mascara.

As for the eye shadow deep blues, blacks, sable browns, completmented by a frosted highlight just below the eyebrow.
rocker isn't a style. a true rock band hasn't been made in a long time. rock died in the 80s. now it's all subgenres like punk, goth, ';emo';, etc.

i have a theory that people who call themselves ';rockers'; are trying so hard to fit into a group of people, yet they want to seem like they're individuals, so they call themselves ';rockers'; and start dressing like an advertisement for hot topic. they really make me sick.

and now, to help you with your question. just go to a mac counter/store or mac.com and pick out colors that you think will look good on you and that you like. for lashes, put them on after the makeup, and always put on a thin line of eyeliner so that when you put them on crooked or not propperly lined up to your lashline, it won't look too bad because it will blend in.also curl your lashes into the fake lashes.
Just go to the closest mall with a MAC counter and ask them. They're not afraid to use colors.

Don't use fake lashes, they're a total pain, with the glue and falling off when it's too warm and so on.

What color eye makeup would look ?

good on me?? and if you would do a smoky eye what will help keep it from coming off??

http://i415.photobucket.com/albums/pp237鈥?/a>What color eye makeup would look ?
Smoky eyes can be tricky to create. I use Maybelline's multi-compact eye shadow--there are eight shades. Recently, I have discovered the miracles cream eye liner can do for you! I bought Clinique cream eye liner in Egyptian (It's a super dark green, gold, color). This goes on easily, don't smear off, and doesn't leave a crease. One of the big misconceptions about getting a smoky eye effect is that you have to use shades of black, grey, and other metallics. Deep, dark earth tones can create a sophisticated and sexy look, while at the same time compliment your natural skin tones. Always remember to use the proper brushes!!! Good luck! What color eye makeup would look ?
First off, I'd like to say you have beautiful eyes.

Now to business - A brown theme would make your eyes pop out very nicely. Use a dark brown eyeliner and then a fair brown for the part of your eye nearest to your eyebrow. (Unfortunatly, I forget the proper terms for the placements on the eye). Secondly, find a somewhat darker brown, but still light, or a grey and create a curve outward, following the crease of your eye. (Basically, the crease where - when you open your eye - the top of your eyelid/eyelashes touch the part nearest to your eyebrow. Just, the Crease). Lastly, choose a darker brown/darker grey and apply it on your eyelid. Be sure that you blend the colors lightly. To do so, just streak your finger (lightly!) so they blend into one another. Don't do a circular motion though.

Show me the ending photo (: Haha

Here's a picture of something with the grey that would work well: http://ellegirl.elle.com/var/ellegirl/st鈥?/a>

by eye make up i mean eyeliner and mascara .. anyway how do i make my eyeliner and mascara look darker but not emo

ive seen some girls that have there eye makeup like that

so yea how do i do that

thank you ;]How do i make my eyeliner/eye makeup dark but NOT look emo?
I really like this girl's technique, she goes by Hurricane Aubrey on YouTube. Here's her tutorial. :)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ilK5Dljbj鈥?/a>How do i make my eyeliner/eye makeup dark but NOT look emo?
if your blond e than id use a brown eyeliner and just apply to the line of your lashes and go over it 2 to 3 times then curl your eyelashes back and apply 1 coat of clear mascara and 2 coats of black/brown mascara.....

if your brunette (like me) then definitely use black eyeliner, apply to the bottom and top lids and then use some black/grey eyeshadow for your top lid and blend it with your eyeliner then use a bit of golden/white eyshadow that blends with the black until its just whit/golden up to your eyebrow!!

hope that helps!!....it works 4 me
I have no idea what websites or sources you are using, but mascara and eyeliner is not emo.

Don't want emo makeup? Then apply it properly. 99% of emo kids apply their makeup as though they are 4 years old and got into mommy's purse.

Apply eyeliner in thinner lines, meaning do not apply it so that it covers half your eye. Don't cake on your mascara.

    That's about it.
its called smearing ur eyeliner try and put a fair bit of it on then smear with ur finger if u don't like this idea u could also use a grey and just add more eyeliner and use a eye lash curler it makes ur eyes look longer and darker. Also get a good brand it allows you to do more things with it as cheap stuff doesn't come out dark and is rubbish
well, instead of using black eyeliner, try using a deep purple or a dark brown eyeliner. don't apply it too ';thickly'; or ';heavily'; though (that can give you the emo look if you're not careful).

if the eyeliner is waterproof, line the inner rims of your eyes as well as around your eyes (but remember, not too thickly around the eyes!)

    hope this helps =]
put more eyeliner on top than you do on bottom. make the look heavier on top. the emo look has eyeliner mostly UNDER the eyes, giving a sad and tired look. if the darkness is applied on top, it wont drag your eyes down and make you look depressed. hope this helps
Well first you should put on a gray or pale shadow. Then draw on your upper lid, making it come out into a wing. Then do your water line on the bottom. After that, redo the upper lid with liquid liner so it looks put-together.

    Hope this helps! =]
smudge your liner thts waht a smudger's for, it decreases the looks of harsh.
Sharpie marker like the cholas do

Makeup to make your eye color look lighter?

Hey, i was just wondering are there any makeup tips that would make your eye color look slightly lighter than what they are?

if not, what could i do to make my eyes pop?

They're brown :-)Makeup to make your eye color look lighter?
Try putting a white or silver shimmering eyeliner the the bottom rim inside your eyes. This will make your eyes shimmer and use purple eye shawdow to bring out the color more.Makeup to make your eye color look lighter?
If you get covergirl eye lights (The commercial that Rihanna stars in) then it'll help emphasize your eyes a lot, trust me.
Highlight the brow bone with white shimmery eyeshadow.
if your eyes are brown, then you have to stop pooping so much.

How do i get my eye makeup to look like this??

To be fair, you would need to buy false eyelashes first for the top %26amp; bottom lash line (these are often called under lashes) ...That is what's making the biggest impact. Here is a great site:

    http://www.eeyelash.com/MClient.php?D1=S

After applying these you will need:

-Black pencil liner (line top %26amp; bottom lids; you may want to do this before applying the lashes...it disguises any imperfections w/ the lash band placement)

    -black eyeshadow (for crease)

-grey eyeshadow (blending out toward browbone)

-a white / a nuetral color shadow (base color)

    -black mascara

You can follow the tips to a smokey eye on this site...It even has a picture to show what it should look like when the lid id closed.

http://beauty.about.com/od/allaboutyoure鈥?/a>How do i get my eye makeup to look like this??
first off, you need some black shadow and liner.

smudge the coalish-black color all over your lid. then, take your eyeline and go along the edge of your lashes on the top. after, take a smudge brush and smudge it into and away from your eye. after that, do the same with the eyeliner to your lower lashes.

the girl in the picture has VERY long eye lashes, so i might suggest you investing in a pair of fake eye alshes and doing that also
i would use black eyeliner; thick on the bottom but not so much on the top.

then put some white on the inner lid(the part of your eye closest to your nose), working to a darker grey on the out side.

then put some black on the very edge of your eyelid, but be careful of the crease, because u dont want it near your eye brow.

she has very thick eyelashes, so i would put a few coats on :D
    what you will need-

    black eyeshadow

    black pencil eyeliner

    black liquid eyeliner

    black volumising mascara

    white eyeshadow

    1. apply black eyeshadow all over lid and into the crease and a little above the crease.

2.line top and bottom lash lines with pencil black eyeliner.

3.go over the eyeliner on the top lashes with liquid eyeliner

4.put a little bit of white eyeshadow on brow bone to hihglight the black

5.finnish off with black macara on top and bottom
u need some eyeliner, mascara, and eyeshadow. u take the eyeshadow and put it on ur eyelids. then u put a heavy coat of eyeliner on. after that put the mascara on.

    **hope i helped!!!~~~
thick black eyeliner [liquid or pencil] on the top and bottom, lots of layers of dark black mascara, and probably a dark brown, blue or black smokey eye

How can i get a nice eye makeup thing going, without looking too done-up?

I never know how to do good eye-makeup that is casual but pretty. i want to go to school and have that eye catching effect, i really want people to be like, ';damn, she looks pretty!';. lol. well idk. please, some tips would be nice. How can i get a nice eye makeup thing going, without looking too done-up?
Virtual Makeover is great. You can play with colors and find a look you will love. Then it shows you how to apply your new look. Just click the link below. How can i get a nice eye makeup thing going, without looking too done-up?
try aplying light eye shadows ... wear a little mascara and put on a little koal / eye liner! wow!
for a more natural look for school i recommend using an ivory cream eye shimmer to the entire lid from eyleash to eybrow. then apply a medium shade e.g. caramel/gold from the eyelash to the socket line, into the crease and gently blending up over the bone slightly. You can intensify your eye by adding a slightly deeper shade e.g. mocha/bronze into the socket and outer corner, which will extend the width of the eye. then use a light shimmer in beige right under the browbone (under the end of the eyebrow) gently dot a white eyeliner on bottom rim of eye fro a more natural look which will really make your eyes ';pop';. lastly curl your already thick eyelashes with an eye lash curler and then aply two coats of brown or black mascara make sure that u dont let the mascara dry in between coats or this will make a horrible clumpy effect. lastly always keep the powdered eye colour/shimmer moving in an upward motion to lift the eye...... i hope this information helped you :)
start with darker shades in the corners of your eyes and as you procede out to your upper eylid use lighter tones.
use lash-curling mascara and just 1-2 layers of eyeliner. Also, if you want to use eyeshadow use a light shimmery color to make your eyes look really nice.
If you want to go for a more antural look then use brown mascara and bjrown eyeliner. If you want to use eyeshadow then use a light sparkly brown. Like tan.
for new girls to the make up field I suggest going to Clinique, they have the cleanest type make up, no racoon eyes, just a hint of eye color, they will do your make up for you and give you suggest a lighter touch. What ever color you have use the opposite color to enhance the shade of eyes, same with eyebrows, go to a proffessional to get the right start on plucking, a little goes a long way. Start out with powder not liquid make up. Next drink eight glasses of water a day, and eat 3 fruits and 3 veges a day to keep your liquids in the body moving.....easy on the meat....good luck
. first apply small amount of cream foundation to smoothen the surface.

. apply light shade of powdered eayeshadow that match ur skin.

.than apply medium shade from inside to outside but not whole only till middle.

. finally apply eyeliner and kajal

    good luck!!!
I use Clinique. It is really affordable. The nice thing is that you can go to the make-up counter and get a free makeover. Tell them what you just asked in your question to us. I recommend just using a light shade over your whole eye like a white or light tan. Then use a eye liner on the upper and lower lid of your eyes and blend it in a little. For extra color use one of the color a specialist has suggest on the bottom half of your lids.
I have green eyes with a brown birth mark, so our eye color is very similar. I modeled years ago and this is how I put eyeshadow on. You will need 3 to 4 shades of eyeshadow, all in the same family. It is good to buy already together in a quad kit. It will already have exactly what you'll need.

First, if you wear foundation put this on first and you'll want to cover the lids of your eyes being careful not to get it on the brows. This will help prevent your shadow from fading.. Let that set for a minute. Then apply your base coat. This will be your light color. I use an off white, ivory, something like that. Apply to the crease of your eye. Then take a dark brown shade and put in the center crease of your eye extending it to the edge of your eye. Then you will take either the color you used as your base or another light color and put that right on the brow bone. Then using your last color, this color you want to have a soft sparkle in it, but still be in the browns. This will go right above the crease shadow.

For liner. Take a dark charcoal color of eyeshadow. You will need either an eyeshadow brush with a straight edge or a stiff eyeshadow applicator. Apply the charcoal color first on the top. You are going right across the top of your lashes, actually touching them. Extend to the far corner of the outer eye. This is what makes the eye pop and stand out. Now the same for the bottom with the charcoal eyeshadow from just a little way from the inside of the eye, touching the bottom lash. Extend to the outer corner to meet where the top ended. Now you'll want to add mascara. I use black or brown/black. Apply one coat. Start from the part of the lash closest to the eye and go to the very tip of your lash. Wait until it dries and apply a second coat. Apply one coat on the bottom
The best way to show off your features in a not so over the top way is to highlight them. Find a nice complementary light color shadow to apply to the top of your brow bone and then also highlight with that same color on the inside corner of your eyes. this will make your eyes pop. then use a really pretty dark shade mascara to really make that stand out. if your brows are groomed well you will look a natural pretty instead of makeup pretty. Hope that helps.
Use natural colors...its really hard to answer this question without knowing your skin color. What works for me are light colors that match what ever I'm wearing yet compliment my eye color!
Buy some eyeshadows that have shimmer in them. And pick out colors that complment your eye color.
ok. first, do black eye liner. then, do a light colour on your whole eyelid, and on the outside corner, put a darker colour that matches your outfit, (blue shirt, blue eye shadow). then after that, use a mascara that gives you longer fuller lashes.

What kind of makeup looks good with almost platinum blonde hair, hazel eyes and slightly tanned skin?

i'm just look for pretty/sexy everyday makeup looks :) thanks! What kind of makeup looks good with almost platinum blonde hair, hazel eyes and slightly tanned skin?
smokey eye loks great on blondes that arent really tan. Blondes can pull off more makeup generally than other people =] Also you said slightly tanned, and to some people slightly tanned might be totally different than another, so if your kindda light you might want to use a good amount of blush since u have almost platinum hair =]What kind of makeup looks good with almost platinum blonde hair, hazel eyes and slightly tanned skin?
    smokey eyes?
    absolutely none.
anything from dark brown/grey to pink/light purple
Platinum blonde hair is really 'loud' you know, like WILD in a sense (compliment!!) For everyday makeup, I would HIGHLY recommend light brown eye shadow, and brown eye liner. This would be relaxed, and at the same time more natural, whereas black liner would amplify the hair and rock star look. BUT if you prefer black liner, which most do, then go ahead and use it but go light on the mascara, if not kick the mascara completely. Also, pink lip gloss or lip balm can't go wrong with your skin tone. :)
black ascara/eyeliner and brown.cream and white eyeshadow
    none... thats a nasty combination
a bit of eyeliner, blush, and mascara is all you need for everyday makeup.

    :]
Pastel colors will go great with that hair and skin tone but make sure not to pile too much on cuz that will kill the look.

If you want to look more elegant use brown eyeliner and mascara. To make a bolder look use black.

physicians formula sells makeup for specific eye colors. It's also made with organic, not cancer causing materials. I love their eyeshadow palette for 3 occasions. It comes with 3 shadows, 3 highlighting shadows, and 3 eyeliners. For natural, day wear, and night wear. And it's made to perfectly accent your specific color.

They also sell other products like the mineral concealer. Its cheaper than most mineral concealers, and it doesn't give your skin that trashy cakey look.

CVS has sales on it constantly. You can get it almost anywhere that sells makeup, like a drug store, or super store.
If you want to go for natural, concentrate on mascara and eyeliner and don't worry too much about eyeshadow.

Eyeliner- use crayon for a more subtle look, gel/liquid for a more clean look. Don't line your eyes heavily, keep the line thin because you want to look natural, not obvious or overdone, right? Wing the corners of your eyes a bit for the extra ';pop';! You shouldn't need to line your bottom lids if you're going for a very subtle look, but if you choose to, again, I suggest a thin line to avoid looking heavy-lidded. Curl your lashes and apply some volumnizing mascara, and you're good to go!

PS- If you did want to add some colour though, I suggest a warm or neutral brown (shimmer is optional) - that should make your eyes stand out a bit more :P

    Hope I've helped!
Light shades of brown/tan/gold, purple, and/or pink. Get an eyeshadow with 3 or 4 colors. The back of the eyeshadow will show you how to use them properly.

Use brown or brownish-black mascara and eyeliner, not pure black. It's less harsh on someone with brown eyes.

Don't go too crazy lining your eyes. I only do a very thin line on the outer corners of my eyes (or the outer half ... I don't know what you call it ...).

Get an eyebrow comb to separate your eyelashes after you apply mascara.

Invest in a name-brand mascara and eyeliner. Everything else can be as cheap as you want.

Last, but not least, if you put eyeshadow under your eyebrows, make it light or white. Makes you look much more awake :)

(Irrelevant tip: Since I'm pale enough to get away with it, I use a matte white eyeshadow (applied thinly) as a highlighting-type concealer (i.e. for under my eyes, to lighten my nose, etc.)
Hi, you're pretty much the same as me, aha. What I usually do on my eyes:

    1. Put white/cream eyeshadow on my eyelids and along the crease.

    2. Line my waterline and inner tear duct with white eyeliner. This brightens them and makes them appear bigger.

    3. On my inner corners of my eye I line with a eyeshadow pencil a goldish color, but you can use any color. (I use Wet 'N Wild; Idol Eyes; in Pixie [130])

    4. Finish with brown-black mascara.

This whole thing takes about 2 minutes!

Good luck. Try this, then tell me what you think. :)

    XOXO
Use a warm brown in your eye crease, and flick it out slightly at the end of your eye. Make sure that this is subtly done, so you don't look like something out of Rocky Horror =P then just apply some brown mascara et voila. C'est fini. You could also apply a little touch of a gold shadow on your brow bone, just so you can see it in the light and it looks more....there =P

it's long but copy it and paste it.Its a whole website on natural looking celebrity makeup looks
brown eyes would be perfect for natrual looking make up.

just simply use natural color eye shadow, like a light brown.

use a bit of a darker-narural color eye shadow on your eye lid,

then lighten up at the other places.

play around with it, see which way suits you the best.

then just wear a lil mascara and just a lil eye linger on the bottom =)
    Eye liner

a neutral colour eye shadow and a slightly darker combo

    Peach pink - Brown

(put peach pink all over lid, and then apply brown in the crease)

put a highlighter on your brow bone

    finish with

    mascara
use a bright shimmery color. only a little bit though. preferably one thats somewhat fleshtone? like a really light pink or a creme color and just a little bit of eyeliner to no eyeliner at all
try using a shimmery light brown eyeshadow some mascara and a little bit of brown eyeliner on your lower lid!
then i would go for brown and pink eyeshadows. then a little blush with some mascara. goodluck =)
