How to you put on eye makeup to make it look good?

my eyes are normal sized i guess and are dark blue. Im not asian so i DO have that double eye lid thing, what ever it is.what colors and mascara and all that jazz :) and my face has a few freckles areound the eye area. haha thx!How to you put on eye makeup to make it look good?

I'd use a darker color. I'd suggest a smokey eye with whites grays and blacks but no offense you sound a little bit makeuply challenged. :) But if you want to try you want to cover your eye lid all the way to the brow with a light gray tone with a wide brush. Then using a skinner brush brush a white right underneath the brow nearest to your ears and in the inner crease of your eyelid. The black is the tricky part. You want to use an angled brush and when your eye is closed drag the brush across from your natural crease. Start at the outside and stop a little over halfway over your eye. For a nice effect you can also put a small line of black on the part of your eye that you would put eye liner. Black mascara would be the best with this look. You could even try this process with a brown.
It really depends on the shape of your eyes and face. If for instance you want to make your eyes look bigger you add your eyeliner to the outside of the lid. If you find they are appropriate for your face you should apply it to the inside. Shadow itself is easy enough. I want you to sit down in the same sort of light you will be spending most of your time after you apply this make up. Like if you are getting ready for a movie...dim if you are going for a picnic bright...


Now really LOOK at your eyes. We all have some natural color around our lids. Some shadow. Just gently highlight your natural shades. This is the most attractive advice I can offer you online. Really look carefully. Good luck!
Black mascara and eyeliner will make your eyes stand out and make them Very pretty. As far as eye shadows i would try purple, maybe even a blue if your up for it but i would think purple would look really good or maybe some pinks too.

stay away from liquid liners but use blues and some smokey gray they complament your eyes and use black or navy macs.
just go with simple black eyeliner and mascara and jazz it up with a smokey eye look with grey or light black
