Do you really need eye makeup to look pretty?

im 14, and i dont wear anyy eye makeup except for cattails on the ends and i look just fine. (my mom actually wont let me hahha, funny.) but when i go to the store or something, there isnt one girl past 13 who doesnt have a crap loadd of eye makeup on.

no, everyone is beautful in thier own way.without makeup, but you dont have the right to judge us 13 year olds who wear alot of makup! i have worn makeup since the 5th grade[sad i know] because my mom wants me to learn from my own mistakes[because i am rather hard headed] and sicen i started wearing makeup at such a young age, when i dont wear any, or wear less makeup, everyones like ';eww, you look dead'; or ';why do you look funny?'; so its hard to stop wearing it. remember, not everyone is born with natural beauty and perfect skin like you are! im having a hard time being nice to you, since you are acting so snobbish that 13 year olds wear makeup. try going easier on young kids who wear alot of makeup, ok? you may not know the real reason they do it.Do you really need eye makeup to look pretty?
i don't think you do. if your naturally pretty, don't waste your money on makeup!





but I'm definitely not against eye makeup, i don't think its essential but i think its helpful to some people.





i use alittle eyeliner and mascara to bring out my eyes and make them as pretty as possible.





so all and all spend your money how you want. if you feel you need it, go for it.
Of course you dont, most girls are beautiful without, even if i think i look prettier with eye make-up lol





i think its just because showing off your eyes is beautiful (i think the eyes are the most gorgeous part of youu anyway) so thats maybe why, but good for you for not plastering your face with crap! lol you sound like a very down-to-earth (beautiful) girl without it! =P
no, I really do not think there is any need to wear eye makeup. speaking from personal experience none of my close friends wears any eye makeup and we haven't had any problems meeting guys if that is one thing your worried about... two of us have boyfriends currently and the other friend just got out of a relationship... so do not worry :)
EWH... too much equals cover up and cover up means insecure!! If you are into any makeup a great bronzer for the summer or press powder to reduce shine is nice. BUT at your age your bestfriend is always a great mascara and lipgloss thats it. When you get a little older try a top liner for night gatherings. (ex. prom)


Your young and tender people in Laguna beach and The Hills are dying to have your flawless skin dont ruin it like those other silly gurls just to appear older because once your there you can never get it back so enjoy!
nope im 14 n i only wear mascara n lip gloss n sumtimes power but only in the winter when my face get red omg i hate it like that lol
Nah, you don't need it, but on some girls, it helps. People don't realize how they don't need that much makeup. Some is okay, but they dont need to cake it on.
No you don't NEED make up to look pretty, it's just sometimes a little nicer.





as for those who where a crap load -as you put it-.... well first of all they're damaging their skin and secondly wonder what they look like without it?





Make up should always be moderate, it can only amplify beauty not create it.

The only reason why all the little teenagers wear eye make up is because they are insicure, or they just like it.
